Ventilated facade – basic information

Ventilated facade is consisted from following components:

– basic aluminium support system for easy rectification
– thermal insulation mineral wool, manufacturer designed for ventilated facades
– air gap
– cladding boards

Properties of ventilated facades:

  • ventilation gap between the external wall and a peripheral wall (or inserted thermal insulation) guarantees the optimum moisture regime facades external walls and minimize building heat load in summer
  • using the appropriate cladding boards and high-quality support system based on aluminum alloys, are suspended ventilated facades permanently resistant to weather – the life cycle of the facade and the building is almost identical
  • dry assembly allows the all-year realization of ventilated facade cladding
  • is possible to use an appropriate thermal insulation to reduce building operating costs
  • due to the variability and technical capabilities of supporting suspension systems can be overcome problematic flatness of surface and carry curved facades simultaneously with elimination effects of thermal expansion on the facade
  • systems enable both visible and cover mounting cladding slabs to the substructure
  • meet the requirements for fire resistance in accordance with ČSN 73 0804
  • size of the cladding slabs is limited only by manufacturing capabilities. Almost endless choice of colors and structural variations and different surfaces allows the a wealth of architectural design of any object.
  • Easy replacement of damaged cladding slabs as disassembly and assembly for changing the facade is easy
  • cladding requires minimal claim on the maintenance.
